How can I become more involved in my neighborhood and community?
There are several ways that you can become involved in your Five Points community. Details about joining or renewing your membership to Friends of Five Points are below. Other opportunities for involvement including becoming a Street Captain, joining a Committee, becoming an Event Volunteer, coming to a FOFP meeting (the annual general FOFP meeting or one of the monthly Board meetings), and joining the FOFP e-mail listserv to be made aware of happenings and issues affecting your neighborhood.
Membership is open to any person or business that wishes to support our goals.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are only $10 per household for one year or $25 for three years. Business memberships are $25 per year. Memberships are renewable in September of each year.
Membership dues pay for newsletter production, website maintenance, and Friends of Five Points events and activities.

You may join us directly through our website or by download our registration form (pdf), that you can print out and mail. Our newsletter also contains a tear-off registration form.

Benefits of membership include:
- Get in touch with what’s going on in your community by receiving a quarterly newsletter and occasional e-mails through the FOFP list serve
- Participate in fun, community-oriented social events
- Contribute your ideas and wishes to a neighborhood group willing to act on your behalf to preserve the quality of life in our great neighborhood.
- Subscription to our list serve, which would allow you to post questions and comments relevant to the neighborhood, such as lost/found pet notices, ordinance concerns, block parties, etc.
- Business members may have their business name listed on our website and in our newsletter as a Business Partner
